"Grand Ordinaire du Roy" wine means that it was served during official receptions by Louis XVI. It is blended from Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes, two traditional grape varities from Burgundy in the 18th century. This is a complex wine with a mix of black fruit and truffles and a toasted oak finish.
